Go to last post
On the right hand side of each thread in a forum there is a button with ‘Go to last post” as its hoverover text. When I click the button, I am taken to the first post. Is there a way for me to correct this?

At the moment, there is no way to fix it, as it is a persistent glitch introduced to the site two upgrades ago that we have not been able to isolate and fix.
However there is a way to accomplish what I suspect you want. Go to your User Control Panel ("User CP" on the left fo the second blue menu bar). Click "Edit Options" from the popup menu. On the Edit options page, scroll down to the third section "Thread Display Options". The second box in that section says "Thread Display Mode". On the menu to that change the mode to "Linear - Newest First" and then push the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page. All of your threads should then display in reverse order, with the newest post at the top when you press a thread link.
